The Hyatt Regency Coolum on the Sunshine Coast will again host the PGA Championship this year from the 24th-27th November 2011. Competition is going to be fierce this year with a lot of the big names confirmed as attending. Geoff Ogilvy, Arron Baddeley, Adam Scott, Robert Allenby, Greg Norman and Jason Day are just to name a few.
Australia’s highest ranked player Adam Scott is playing with renewed confidence after a great round in the World Golf Championship recently. “Winning at home in Queensland has always been high on my list of career achievement and with the way I am playing at the moment hopefully this could be my year” Scott said in a recent interview with PGA Australia. Scott knows the course well and has played nearly every year since the championship started on the Sunshine Coast back in 2002. We would love to see a Queenslander win on home soil. Good Luck Adam.

We hired 4 units when my son & partner decided to get married in Australia (we live in the uk) with the help of my extended family who live in Queensland we had a fantastic wedding on the beach only a few yards from sand dunes…and a reception back at one of the units. The place was ideal for the kids they spent nearly all the time in the pool.
